Does it ever seems like democrats studied the NAZI platform?
"The State must consider a thorough reconstruction of our national system of education ... The aim of the school must be to give the pupil, beginning with the first sign of intelligence, a grasp of the notion of the State" -- Nazi Party Platform
Does the following sound familiar? Those disloyal to the party, i.e. "enemies of the state" are to be punished. Just like today's cancel culture.
"We demand the ruthless prosecution of those whose activities are injurious to the common interest." -- Nazi Party Platform
Compare the following to the claims of MSM and social media:
"The publishing of papers which are not conducive to the national welfare must be forbidden. We demand the legal prosecution of all those tendencies in art and literature which corrupt our national life, and the suppression of cultural events which violate this demand." -- Nazi Party Platform
Voltaire said it over 250 years ago
Is there anything here that is not, at least, as relevant today?
"Doctors put drugs of which they know little into bodies of which they know less for diseases of which they know nothing at all."
"Is politics nothing other than the art of deliberately lying?"
"If you want to know who controls you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize."
"If there’s life on other planets, then the earth is the Universe’s insane asylum."
"So long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men."
"The right to free speech is more important than the content of the speech."
"Those who can be made to believe absurdities can be made to commit atrocities."
"It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere."
"Many are destined to reason wrongly; others, not to reason at all; and others, to persecute those who do reason."
"The most important decision you make is to be in a good mood."
"It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong."
"The comfort of the rich depends upon an abundant supply of the poor."
"In general, the art of government consists of taking as much money as possible from one class of citizens to give to another."
"Prejudices are what fools use for reason."
